Nagi Arisuin

Nagi Arisuin has the tall build of a young man, but his style and mannerisms often have a delicate touch. While he presents as male, his self-identity is deeply feminine. He is often seen with a calm and friendly look, making him approachable even though his powers and past could make him seem intimidating.

Nagi is cheerful, nurturing, and loves to take care of others. He easily makes friends and likes to be called "Alice." He is especially perceptive, noticing things about others that most people overlook. Despite his caring nature, there is a calm, almost cold side to him from his difficult past. He acts like an older sibling to Shizuku Kurogane, helping her choose clothes or offering advice when she needs it. He is also very accepting and understanding of people’s feelings.

Nagi was born and raised in Northern Europe. He was abandoned by his parents as a child and lived as a street orphan with other kids in similar situations. During these hard times, he was only known as "Alice," not by his current name. After seeing a friend killed by criminals, Nagi entered the underworld and became a member of the "Liberation Army," a crime group. There, he earned the nickname "Black Assassin" for his skills.

Nagi is a Rank D knight and has the alias “Black Sonia” or "Black Assassin." His device, "Darkness Hermit," is a dagger that lets him control shadows. He can hide in shadows, move through them, or use them to tie up and trap enemies. He is also able to make a hidden room in the shadows to store things like food.

Techniques:

• Shadow Bind: Stabs the enemy’s shadow to stop their movement.
• Shadow Spot: Creates a doorway into his own secret shadow hideout.
• Shadow Walk: Moves freely inside shadows.
• Shadow Beast: Attacks with beast-shaped shadow figures.

Nagi is Shizuku Kurogane’s roommate and becomes a supportive friend, almost like a big sister to her. Even though he joined Hagun Academy on a mission for the Liberation Army, his bond with Shizuku changes his heart for the better.

A Mysterious New Roommate

Nagi became Shizuku’s roommate at Hagun Academy, appearing as a tall, gentle young man. Although he has a male body, he openly shares that his heart is that of a girl.

Compassion and Insight

Upon meeting Shizuku, Nagi quickly noticed she didn't easily trust people. He became someone she could talk to, giving her advice and helping with daily life.

Tragic Past

Nagi’s childhood was hard—abandoned and living on the streets in Northern Europe. After a close friend was murdered, he started working for the Liberation Army as the “Black Assassin,” taking on dangerous missions.

The Turning Point

Nagi was sent to Hagun Academy as a spy for the Liberation Army. But getting to know Shizuku helped him rediscover the part of himself that wanted to care for people. He couldn’t betray her, so he left the organization behind.

The Tournament Exit

Even though Nagi had earned the right to fight in the Seven Star Sword Art Festival, he decided to quit after leaving the Liberation Army.
