Karin Kurosaki

Ichigo's younger sister and Yuzu's twin. She is in the fifth grade of elementary school and then moves up to the first year of middle school. She refers to herself as "I". She calls Ichigo "Ichi-nii" and sometimes refers to her father as "Beard".

She is known for her robust health and tomboyish personality, rarely getting sick. She hardly ever cries or shows weakness. She often plays with boys, but her strong-willed nature sometimes makes her unpopular.

Like Ichigo, she has a strong spiritual sense and can clearly see both Shinigami and Hollows, though she initially did not believe in ghosts. She also knew about her brother's transformation into a Shinigami through Kannonji. She is also the first Karakura Red of the Karakura Defense Squad, using her "Karin-style Death Shoot" learned from soccer to attack Hollows.

In the anime, although mostly comedic, she has shown superhuman physical abilities, such as kicking and blowing away Hollows much larger than herself (although this was in combination with others, she was the one to deliver the final blow and defeat the Hollow). She often clashes with Jinta, as they are similar.

In the anime original episode 132, she played a soccer match with Toshiro Hitsugaya, during which she witnessed Hitsugaya's Shinigami abilities when they were attacked by a Hollow. She calls him "Toshiro" just like Ichigo.

In the final episode, she appears as a grown-up.
