Mask De Masculine

A giant man dressed as a masked wrestler with a star mark on his forehead, a Quincy who conceals a Quincy Cross on his belt. He refers to himself as "Wagahai". He likes to stand out, defining himself as "justice" and those who oppose him as "villains". When he gets angry, he becomes highly emotional. He has a policy of not remembering the "villains" he has defeated, and did not recognize Renji, whom he had previously defeated, for a while during their rematch.

During the first invasion, he attacked Renji while Renji was fighting Äs Nödt but was temporarily put off balance by Byakuya. He later reappeared, defeating Renji, who tried to support Byakuya, with a dropkick. At that time, he was unaware that Renji could use Bankai.

In the second invasion, he ambushed Uryu, Ikkaku, and Yumichika at night, and then confronted Kensei and Rose. Initially overwhelmed by Kensei's Bankai, he turned the tables with the cheers of James, overpowering Kensei and defeating Bankai-activated Rose after catching onto his abilities when Rose spoke of them. Soon after, Renji, who greatly improved his strength after training at the Zero Division temple, confronted him. Unable to match Renji, he activated his Quincy Vollständig but was ultimately defeated and killed by Renji's true Bankai.

In an official Q&A, it was revealed that Mask De Masculine is an "ideal superstar" created by James' ability.

Ability "The Superstar"

The ability of the letter “S”. He can heal wounds and power up by receiving cheers from his aide, James.

It is effective even if his eardrums are ruptured, suggesting it can be activated even if he can't hear James' cheers. When he receives cheers from multiple Jameses, he completes "Star Power-Up", changing his mask's pattern and appearing in pro-wrestling briefs with a championship belt, allowing him to use "One-Mile Arts", emitting shock waves that reach approximately one mile away.

A small, bald-headed Quincy and Mask De Masculine's attendant, referred to as "Mister" by Mask De Masculine. Always carries a gong.

Though not a strong combatant, James possesses incredible vitality; even after being split in half, he survives and multiplies when called by Mask De Masculine, regenerating from the pieces into numerous Jameses.

His cheering completes Mask De Masculine's "Star Power-Up", but he was obliterated during a rematch against Renji by the deadly attack "Star Flash Super Nova". As long as Mask De Masculine survives, however, James can be resurrected after some time, bound by destiny.

Following Mask De Masculine's defeat, Yhwach mourned the death of James, showing that their relationship and James’ status as either a servant or possibly Mask De Masculine's real name remained a mystery. Later, it became clear in an official Q&A that "James" was the Quincy granted the letter "S" and wielder of the ability "The Superstar", while Mask De Masculine was created by James' powers.

This power-up and healing through cheers are strong abilities, with either of them reviving if the other survives.
