Nel Reckless is a former "apostle" with a tomboyish attitude and a quirky, straightforward way of speaking. Known for her powerful kicks and brief but memorable time in the "Gods' Games We Play," Nel is most famous for her bold personality and unique way of befriending (and scaring off) her idols. Despite her past heartbreak, she eventually regains her spot in the games and becomes a loyal supporter of Fay Philus.
Nel Reckless has a strong, athletic build that fits her tomboyish and energetic personality.
She wears her uniform from the Marla Branch, which she represents as a former team member.
Nel is outgoing and very straightforward.
She often speaks in a samurai-like way but doesn’t use traditional samurai words.
She is reliable but can be a bit scatterbrained and clumsy at times.
Nel is honest, sometimes too honest, and will apologize by bowing if she makes a mistake.
She is not very good at mind games or psychological battles.
Nel specializes in powerful kicks that can repel any object or magic attack.
She worked as a backline support member, keeping her team safe.
- “You are worthy of being my master!!”
- “Fay, please let me be your woman!”
Nel Reckless is from the Marla Branch and used to be an apostle.
She retired after losing three times in the “Gods’ Games We Play.”
Her quick retirement was partly due to her captain and vice-captain giving up too easily, which forced her to quit.
She is still haunted by memories of her last battle and misses the games deeply.
Inspired by Fay
One day, Nel witnessed Fay Philus become the first human in history to defeat Uroboros in a game.
This made Nel greatly admire Fay and wish to become his disciple.
A Bold Request
When Fay visited the Marla Branch for an event, Nel showed up and begged to become his disciple, even kneeling to the ground.
When Fay said no, she offered to help with anything—even to be his supporter.
Nel accidentally said, “Fay, please let me be your woman!” which made everyone think she was suspicious, so Fay and his team ran away.
Repeated Attempts
Nel kept trying to officially join Fay’s team, but failed every time.
Fay’s team researched her and found out she was actually a skilled and talented person, so they started to think of her more positively.
Facing the Bookmaker
Before the main event, Nel watched the exhibition battles and event at Fay’s request.
She admitted that she still wanted to rejoin the “Gods’ Games We Play” but could not due to the rules.
Fay came up with the idea to challenge the gambling god, the “Bookmaker,” for a chance to return.
Nel agreed to play this game despite her fear.
Winning Back Her Place
Fay trusted Nel with three out of six chances to win her place back, but she lost them all to the Bookmaker.
Fay then risked his remaining three wins, and if he won, all Nel’s losses would be erased.
Fay won, making Nel’s score 3-0 and giving her back the right to participate in the games.
Nel then moved from the Marla Branch to the Ruin Branch and officially joined Fay’s team.
Nel was teammates with Dark Gia Scimitar and Kerlich Sea.
She now deeply respects Fay Philus as her leader and wants to help him however she can.
Nel becomes very emotional if she thinks she failed, and her first reaction is to bow and say sorry.
She uses samurai-like speech but does not say classic “samurai” words like “de gozaru.”
Nel is especially known for her comedic scenes, such as begging to be Fay’s disciple and accidentally scaring the entire team with her bold statements.
