Character Setting

Edit

Uroboros is an unbeatable goddess who appears in a human form to invite Fay Philus for a rematch in a challenging game. She is known for her pride in never losing at any “Gods’ Games We Play.” Though her true form is a massive dragon-serpent, she often interacts with humans in disguise, showing a quirky and persistent interest in Fay after her first-ever loss to him. Her unmatched power, playful attitude, and unique style make her stand out in every scene.

Uroboros usually takes on a human appearance, wearing a traditional purple kimono as her formal outfit.

In the story, she also appears in casual clothes described as “uncool” and later in a swimsuit that looks like a school swimsuit with the word "Unbeaten" written on it.

Her original form is a gigantic dragon-serpent, showcasing her true divine nature.

Uroboros is extremely confident and takes great pride in her unbeaten record.

She often says, "I am unbeaten, you know?"

Even after losing for the first time, she develops a fond interest in Fay Philus.

She calls all humans “Human-chan” in a playful way.

She is persistent and a bit naïve, truly believing Fay promised a rematch, even though he never agreed.

Uroboros is the undefeated goddess of the “Gods’ Games We Play.”

For a long time, she has beaten countless challengers in these deadly games.

Her reputation has grown so terrifying that most people surrender just knowing she is their opponent.

Challengers are even allowed to give up without conditions when facing her.

No one could ever defeat her until Fay Philus came along and managed to win in a forbidden word game.

Uroboros possesses divine power far beyond normal beings, even while in her human disguise.

She easily smashes through barriers between worlds and defeats powerful monsters like “the Sleeping Lion” (with over 5 million HP and strong resistances) and “Sphinx” (a transforming robot claiming to be the toughest raid boss) with a single light punch. Her attack delivers over 900 trillion damage at once.

Her true dragon-serpent form is enormous, and even her human form is unmatched in battle.

She is obsessed with maintaining her “never lost” record and will go to great lengths to erase any defeat.

After losing to Fay Philus, Uroboros becomes curious and attached to him.

She gifts him the “Eye of Uroboros,” an item that guarantees encountering her again.

She nicknames all humans “Human-chan,” whether she likes them or not.

She interacts with other gods and game contestants, but focuses her attention mostly on Fay.

She even plays and defeats the “Bet Goddess” after getting information from her.

She likes to change her style: from formal kimono, to plain casual clothes, and even a swimsuit with “Unbeaten” printed on it.

She is featured in several mid-episode show cuts searching for Fay in plain clothes.

Losing to Fay was so shocking to her that she eagerly waits in the heavens, hoping Fay will visit for a rematch.

"I am unbeaten, you know?"

The Unbeaten Goddess Appears

Uroboros is proud of never losing at any “Gods’ Games We Play.”

Her unmatched difficulty is so widely known, most contenders give up as soon as they learn she is their opponent, often before the game even starts.

It is even considered acceptable to surrender without conditions against her.

Uroboros Loses for the First Time

One day, in a forbidden word game, Fay Philus manages to defeat Uroboros for the first time ever.

Though surprised by her loss, she is impressed by Fay and starts watching him with great interest.

The Human Encounter

After the game ends, Uroboros appears before Fay in her human form.

She gives him the “Eye of Uroboros,” a special item that guarantees seeing her again.

She tells Fay she hopes to play another game together and then leaves.

Though Fay never actually agreed, Uroboros is convinced he promised a rematch, so she waits excitedly in the heavens for him.

Searching for Fay

When Fay does not show up for a long time, Uroboros gets restless.

She changes from her fancy kimono into “uncool” casual clothes and secretly sneaks into the human world to search for Fay.

Several short scenes in the anime show her hunting for Fay while disguised in these casual outfits.

Joining the Maze Adventure

After Fay’s group completes a game with the “Bet Goddess,” Uroboros breaks through the dimensional wall and appears before them.

Using information from the “Bet Goddess,” she joins Fay and his friends inside the labyrinth “Maze Lusheimea.”

She starts participating in their adventures and games.

Departure from the Maze

In the original story, dark forces are afraid Uroboros will become the new unbeatable boss of the labyrinth, so they eject her from the dungeon.

In the anime, the fairy guide accuses her of breaking the rules and kicks her out instead.

As a fun twist, she later appears in the swimsuit scene, wearing her special suit with "Unbeaten" written on it.

Showing Unmatched Power

Inside the labyrinth, Uroboros easily defeats the “Sleeping Lion” and “Sphinx”—supposedly unbeatable foes—each with a single hit.

She delivers over 900 trillion damage with just a flick.

Her godly strength is far beyond anyone else in the place.

Maintaining Her “Unbeaten” Status

Uroboros is obsessed with always being undefeated.

After getting Fay’s location from the “Bet Goddess,” she plays a quick game with her, wins as usual, and erases her only loss from memory to stay truly unbeaten.
