Sylpha

Sylpha is a 19-year-old woman working as a maid in Saloum Castle.

Among the female characters in the series, she stands out for her remarkable figure and is often shown as the most attractive character.

Sylpha is calm and level-headed as long as things do not directly involve Lloyd.

She is stubborn and hates losing, which leads her to compete fiercely, especially with Tao.

Before becoming a maid, she was obsessed with swordsmanship, often judging everything she saw by whether she could cut it.

Now, her obsession has quieted, but she still has a strong sense of loyalty and protectiveness toward Lloyd.

Sylpha is very disciplined and serious about her duties, but gets heated when it comes to rivals or threats to those she cares for.

Sylpha is the daughter of Marquis Langris, the leader of the Saloum Knight Order.

She trained hard under her father and became a sword master at a young age.

Just before turning 16, her father worried about her intense focus on sword fighting and advised her to become an adventurer to learn about selflessness and kindness.

She joined the adventurer’s guild and, because of confusing rules, ended up fighting an A-rank adventurer as a test, where she won easily.

She started as a C-rank adventurer, quickly finished many missions, and soon reached B-rank.

During her first B-rank mission, she met a surprising enemy and nearly died protecting her friends, but was saved by Lloyd de Saloum.

Sylpha is known as the "Silver Sword Princess" because of her fantastic sword skills.

She uses the unique "Langris Style," which covers many sword techniques—including long swords, short swords, dual wielding, and quick-drawing.

She has amazing strength and extremely sharp observation, letting her copy sword moves after seeing them only once.

Even while holding back, she is strong enough that Lloyd cannot beat her in sword training, even by using his magic.

When she fights with full effort, she can break through Lloyd’s magical barriers.

However, she is weak in magic and has less magic power than ordinary people.

Lloyd de Saloum

Sylpha acts as Lloyd’s guardian, instructor, and maid.

She loves and cares for him very much, and feels strong loyalty and protectiveness.

She gets jealous and cautious around any girls who show interest in Lloyd and is willing to threaten or even attack anyone who aims to hurt him.

Still, Lloyd is mainly interested in studying magic and does not view her as a potential partner.

Tao

Sylpha sees Tao both as a rival and an enemy, especially because Tao also likes Lloyd.

She often treats Tao harshly but takes competition with her very seriously, becoming quite passionate.

Marquis Langris

Her father played a big role in her life, training her and guiding her on her path to understanding the meaning of knighthood and selflessness.

Becoming an Adventurer

Guided by her father’s advice, Sylpha left castle life to learn more about the world and herself as an adventurer.

She surprised everyone by beating an A-rank adventurer and moved up the ranks rapidly after starting her journey at C-rank.

Meeting Lloyd

On her first B-rank mission, Sylpha almost lost her life protecting her teammates but was saved by Lloyd.

She had already met Lloyd once before at a social event through her father, where she felt a strong connection.

After Lloyd saved her, her caring feelings for him only grew stronger.

Becoming a Maid

Right after finishing her big mission, Sylpha quit being an adventurer and asked Albert to let her serve as Lloyd’s personal maid.

She officially left the guild while her A-rank promotion was still pending, so she became known as a "former A-rank adventurer" after the rank was granted post-retirement.

Life as Lloyd’s Protector

Sylpha does everything she can to protect Lloyd, often coming into conflict with other characters who get close to him.

She pushes Lloyd to spend more time on sword training, hoping to keep him from focusing too much on dangerous magic.

Though her feelings for Lloyd are strong, she is often seen as an annoyance since Lloyd prioritizes studying magic above all else.
