Himeno

Denji's senior and Aki's partner. A beautiful woman with a trademark eyepatch over one eye. She has a bright and easygoing personality. She enjoys drinking but becomes unruly when drunk, and her odd behavior increases. Once, in a drunken state, she almost engaged in sexual activity with Denji at her home, but they became "friends" after realizing they both had feelings for other people. She has a father and a sister (voiced by Sara Matsumoto) and is depicted sending money back home.

She has a contract with the Ghost Devil, sacrificing her right eye, allowing her to freely manipulate invisible, intangible arms. She has a long career as a Devil Hunter, and all five of her previous partners died in the line of duty. Perhaps due to this, she had a dark and severe personality before partnering with Aki. She has feelings for Aki and depends on him both personally and professionally, but secretly wishes for him to leave Public Safety and live a peaceful life. She is a smoker and turned Aki, who originally disliked smoking, into a smoker as well.

During the battle with the Samurai Sword, she sacrifices everything to the Ghost Devil to protect Aki, but her body completely disappears when the Ghost Devil is devoured by the Snake Devil.
