Kobatz

A subordinate of Kibaou and a lieutenant colonel in the Aincrad Liberation Force. While he is driven by a sense of duty to liberate "Aincrad," he is also stubborn and inflexible. With the guild's policy shift, he moves to the front lines and encounters Kirito and Asuna's party in the labyrinth area of the 74th floor. Lacking preparation and awareness of the dangers of the boss fight, he ignores Kirito and Asuna's warnings and leads his exhausted comrades into battle, only to be defeated and killed along with two of his subordinates. While Kirito and the others mourn his death, they could not defend his reckless actions.
