Hina Sinclair is an antagonist in Shadowverse Flame.
Hina is the youngest member of the Seven Shadows.
She comes from a wealthy family that despite giving her all the luxuries, also oppressed and controlled her. So it was that she found an outlet in the character Queen Insect from Battle Fencer. Hina finally decided to run away from home, making a living as a Shadowverse pro player. She would later discover that her parents simply replaced her with her brother.
During the third day of the Shadowverse World Ranking, Hina meets Ren in Nekome City and makes her take her to the toy store. There the two come into conflict over their opposing tastes in heroes and villains, so they decide to settle it with a Shadowverse battle. Despite putting her on the edge of defeat, Ren manages to take the victory with a miraculous draw. Hina accepts the loss, ending on good terms with Ren, although she promises that next time she will defeat her as one of the Seven Shadows.
Prior to the battle against the World Ranking winners, Hina formed a secret pact with Andrea Rondo, deciding to support her in her true goal, delighting in how "evil" it was.
During the fourth battle in the Shadow Area, Hina has her rematch with Ren where despite Ren's attempts to create a connection between the two, Hina only finds her heroic kindness annoying.
When the Arc Ruler begins its invasion of Nekome City, Hina and the rest of the Seven Shadows are sent to defend the city from the DigiFriends turned into Shade monsters with the Nexa System. However, when Tsubasa and Ren were on their way to the Sky Tower to destroy it, Andrea and Hina stood in their way, declaring not to let them get there. Reserved for her secret plans, Andrea fixes the Shadowverse battle system that will be in tag format to generate biological feedback that damages the real body.
During the battle, Hina reveals that she supports Andrea and the Arc Ruler's intentions as payback to the world for her unhappy life. When Ren and Tsubasa win thanks to the evolution of their DigiFriends, Ren tries to convince Hina to stay by her side, but Hina believes that it is too late for her to be saved by the hero. Thus, she decides to fall after Andrea into the void of the terrain destroyed by the battle, staying with her villainous companion until the end.
Andrea and Hina somehow survive the fall and are taken to the hospital. With the world safe, the two leave and become missing persons, deciding to find a new purpose.
Hina Sinclair has pale skin and long hair that is primarly pink with dark blue streaks on the left side of her hair, the top of her pigtails and her eyes are either light or dark with piercing shape pupils.
She is adorned in a black kimono-style dress featuring an extremely short skirt and a sleeveless bodice. Her attire is complemented by a black choker. She possesses fair skin, striking yellow-green eyes, and long hair styled in two ponytails at the back, with bangs and two strands framing her face. Her hair is secured with lime green ties that resemble ears. Additionally, she wears a lime green short-sleeved jacket that exposes her bare shoulders, fastened with a silver zipper.
Hina is a proud and vain girl, with a tendency to be rude, intimidating and imposing despite her age. Like Ren, she enjoys superhero shows such as Battle Fencer, though unlike Ren, Hina prefers villains over heroes and believes evil allows them to be true to themselves.
Hina uses a Forestcraft deck. Her deck relies on insect-based followers, most gaining buffs from the Fertile Forest amulet, mainly increasing their numbers to overwhelm the opponent. Her strategy also focuses on playing as many Insect Larvas as possible in order to trigger the powerful effects of her ace card, Butterfly Queen.
As a secondary strategy, Hina resorts to Poison Marsh to create Frozen Centipides and slowly reduce the opponent's maximum defense, building a counter to give the finishing blow with her second ace card, Hornet Raider.
Hina later includes the "Venom" series that works in tandem with the Toxic Rain amulet.
