Regan

Regan is a young elf with features typical of his kind—pointed ears and a slender build.

He often looks mysterious, fitting the image of a wise scholar.

He usually wears clothes suited for someone who spends lots of time in a cold, ancient palace.

Because he is so focused on research, his living and working space is often crowded with piles of books and documents.

Regan is very curious and passionate about learning.

He can become so wrapped up in his studies that he forgets to clean up or notice what's happening around him.

Although he seems serious and a bit spooky at first, he has a good sense of humor.

He laughs at Naotsugu’s silly jokes and is not afraid to join in friendly banter.

Tetra jokes and calls him "Skeleton Big Brother" because of his unique look.

Regan is a Land Person, a type of native inhabitant in Elder Tale, and not an Adventurer (player).

He lives in the Eternal Ice Ancient Palace, which is where he does his research.

Regan is known as the "Sage of Mirror Lake," a title passed down among skilled scholars like himself.

He was allowed to use the name of the famous "Wise Clan" at a young age, showing how talented he is.

He is also the student of Jared Gan and part of Plant Hwayden.

Regan’s main job is Magic Scholar (Lore Master).

He is not as high-leveled as Adventurers, but he is very skilled in magical research and technology.

He specializes in powerful world-class magic and knows a lot about breaking magic seals.

He is an expert in history, theory of spirits, and other hard-to-understand magical subjects.

He can also use machines to make protective barriers, which help keep him safe in dangerous situations.

Regan is friendly with Shiroe, often working together on tough problems.

He talks a lot with Naotsugu and other members of the Round Table Council.

He also gets along with Tetra, who teases him, calling him the "Skeleton Big Brother."

His teacher is Jared Gan.

He often contacts leaders from various cities and communicates new findings to them.

Meeting with Shiroe and Others

Regan first meets Shiroe after being invited by the Eastal League of Free Cities.

He discusses big mysteries like the "Great Catastrophe," the Ancient Species, the Six Princesses, and the secrets of world magic.

Regan finds Shiroe’s ideas exciting, calling him a "jack-in-the-box."

Journey to Susukino

In November, Regan travels with Shiroe and Naotsugu to Susukino.

While Shiroe and friends take on a dangerous raid called "Palm's Deepest Place," Regan waits in Susukino, where he keeps researching magical transport gates.

He fills his room with research material during this time.

Communication Network Revival

By May of the second year, Regan arrives in Akiba to tell Shiroe about recovered communications in Shibuya.

He works on repairing and restarting a communication station, allowing players to talk with faraway places.

However, instead of contacting the "Moon," he connects to the Chinese server that Kanami reactivated.

Fortress of Echoes Battle

At the "Fortress of Echoes," Regan joins the battle to help defeat strong magic barriers.

He bravely carries a machine that creates a powerful shield, protecting himself so he can study what’s happening on the battlefield.

After the fight, he helps fix the communication tools to work again.

He feels that being present for these major world events is part of his job as the Sage of Mirror Lake.

The New Round Table Council

After the Round Table Council breaks up, a new group is formed.

Regan acts as a technical advisor, giving his expert advice about magic and science.

Regan always ends the TV series episodes by saying, "May I come with you?"

Despite his ghostly look, Regan loves jokes and fits in well with funny characters.

He is sometimes surprised by how messy his own room becomes!

Regan only appears in quest flavor texts before the in-game "Great Catastrophe" event, but he later becomes central to solving many mysteries in the main story.
