Alnilam, also known as Lam, is a minor antagonist turned main character in Relayer. She is the Starchild of Alnilam, one of the three stars of Orion's Belt. She is the Vice-Captain of the Space Pirate group known as the Star Council, serving under her captain Mintaka and working alongside her fellow member, Alniltak. Alnilam harbors strong romantic feelings for Mintaka and values her more than anything else and is always willing to stay by her side, both on the battlefield and outside of it.
Her personal Steller Gear is Epsilon, a Tank Type Gear.
Alnilam is a young adult woman with short brown hair that reaches down to her shoulders and has blue eyes.
Alnilam wears the Star Council uniform which consists of a gray long sleeve shirt with a black stripe going down and across, a pair of black pants and shoes, a white leg pouch, a black hip pouch and a black cape that reaches down to her waist.
