The character who appears in episode 8 of the first season of the anime is shown as a mascot within the heart monitor image. He repeatedly explained pulmonary and systemic circulation to the Erythrocytes, but AE3803 felt that "no matter how many times she saw it, she couldn't understand." The design of this character was first used for the Neutrophil stamp card in the one-shot work "Story of Cells," and also appears in the original manga's first chapter, drawn on the signboard of the General Cell apartment complex and on the sign of the bronchial Rube Goldberg device.
