Rensuke Nyūdō

A student in Class 2-3 of Hyakki Academy and the class representative. 17 years old. Height 175 cm. Birthday October 2nd. Nickname is Renren. A youkai known as Hitotsume Kozou. A humanoid youkai with one large eye, boasting a vision of 130.0, allowing him to see extremely far. He is exceptionally intelligent, ranking first in his grade. Coming from a wealthy family, he has never done housework and is not good at it. Though he is difficult to handle when angered, he has a gentle and kind personality, acting as the class mediator. He comes from a single-parent household. His father serves as a minister in the Ministry of Youkai, but since his mother's passing, they have not seen each other, and their relationship is not good. His human mother lost her life force during his birth, leading to her illness and eventual death. Additionally, he was rejected by a human girl he liked when she saw him as a youkai, which made him dislike being born as a Hitotsume Kozou, expressing a wish to have been born human. He is best friends with Tamao and shares a dorm room with Kōtarō, with whom he gets along well.
