But his wound is fatal, and he collapses.
Final Moments
Manjirou Sano almost kills Kazutora out of rage, but Baji wakes up and stabs himself in front of everyone to stop him.
He tells Takemichi Hanagaki and his friends the truth about Kisaki’s plot and says that the original members are treasures.
He shares his final words with Chifuyu Matsuno, telling him to eat Peyang together.
He then passes away.
Alternate Timeline
Because of Takemichi Hanagaki’s time leap to 1998, Baji never dies in this new timeline.
He is able to join later important battles like the Christmas Showdown and Kanto Incident.
In the present day, he works at a pet shop owned by Chifuyu, and together with Kazutora, is often called a "bad employee."
Life in Alternate Worldlines
In the original worldline, after Manjirou’s tragedy, Baji becomes withdrawn and doesn’t go to school.
He and Haruchiyo Akashi visit Manjirou Sano in the juvenile center, seeing his old friend much weaker than before.
Baji suffers from the trauma and doesn’t live a happy life.
After Shinichirou Sano changes the past, Baji gets to have better days as a Tokyo Manji Gang member; he even changes his hairstyle a bit and acts more laid-back around Shinichirou.
Keisuke Baji is a key character in Tokyo Revengers.
He is important not only for his fighting but also for his heart and loyalty.
In the spinoff "Letters from Keisuke Baji," his mother Ryoko appears, looking and acting a lot like him.
