Lower Moon One. A demon with a handsome, gentlemanly appearance wearing Western-style clothing. After receiving increased blood, his body became covered in visible veins.

He can detach his left hand, which has eyes and a mouth, as a separate entity that acts independently. He loves seeing the misfortune and suffering of others more than anything.

Initially, Enmu had his organs eaten by Muzan due to hunger, but he felt no pain from the fatal injury, admired Muzan, and praised him before dying. Muzan whimsically turned him into a demon after that.

Called the "Sleep Demon," he uses Blood Demon Arts related to dreams and is skilled at creating mechanisms with these powers. To awaken from a trapped dream, one needs the courage to commit self-harm within the dream.

During Muzan's purge of the Lower Moons, Enmu sincerely expressed happiness at hearing the dying screams of the other demons, which pleased Muzan, and he was spared and given increased blood. He was then sent to pursue Tanjiro. On the Infinity Train, he avoided direct confrontation with the Demon Slayer Corps by manipulating humans. Using the conductor, he put the Demon Slayer group to sleep and had children attempt to destroy their "spiritual cores" within their unconscious spaces, though this only served as a distraction. By the time Tanjiro awakened, Enmu had already fused with the train itself. He planned to use the 200 passengers as hostages and food but was thwarted by Rengoku, Zenitsu, and Nezuko. Tanjiro and Inosuke then destroyed the vertebrae hidden under the train's engine room. As a result, Enmu failed to consume anyone and was unable to exert his full power, leading to his defeat. He vanished, lamenting, "What a miserable nightmare."

Techniques:

**Forced Sleep Hypnosis Whisper**: Uttering "sleep" or "fall asleep" from the mouth on his left hand forces targets into sleep, trapping them in a dream. The technique is difficult to defend against as it relies on sound. However, like Tanjiro, one can render it ineffective by instantly committing self-harm within the dream to escape.

**Forced Sleep Eye**: After fusing with the train, Enmu's numerous eyes can put anyone who makes eye contact into sleep. Even if some eyes are destroyed, he can immediately reapply the technique. Furthermore, he can make the target believe they are still in the dream world, leading them to commit suicide in reality. This technique is less effective against someone like Inosuke, who wears a mask that makes it hard to read his gaze.
