Shige

Shige is an older homeless man who sleeps at the same park as Yassan.

First Impression

He has a blunt personality and seemed unfriendly at first.

When Yassan brought Anzu to the park, Shige was cold to her at the beginning.

Change of Heart

Anzu sang a song on the spot, and it deeply moved Shige.

The song touched Shige’s heart, and after that he became much nicer to Anzu.

He even taught her how to play with string figures, treating her like a grandchild.

Life Changes

Because of a cleanup project, Shige was forced to leave the park where he lived.

He had to say goodbye to Anzu.

After that, he began to work with help from government support.

Reunion with Anzu

Later, Shige and Yassan visited Anzu’s food cart business.

When Shige saw Anzu again after a long time, he burst into tears.

Their emotional reunion showed how much they still cared for each other.
