Matsunosuke

Ichitarō's older half-brother. He is a pleasant and gentle young man who always has a beaming smile on his face. Due to the circumstances of his birth, he was sent to serve as an apprentice at a cooper's shop in Hongō. He later becomes an assistant clerk at Nagasaki-ya, a shipping agency.
