Hummy resembles a white cat with heart-shaped paw pads. Her soft, inviting appearance makes her instantly lovable, and she can communicate easily with other cats.

Hummy is easygoing and a bit of an airhead, frequently forgetting important information. Her natural tendency to speak in a unique style—referring to herself in the third person and ending sentences with quirky sounds—adds to her charm. She is very cheerful, and whenever she feels sad, she tries to shake it off by eating, especially her favorite treat: cupcakes. Hummy is impulsive but always sincere in her feelings.

Hummy hails from Major Land and was sent on an important mission by Aphrodite: to collect the scattered musical notes of the Legendary Score in the human world. In Kanon Town, she lives undercover as the pet cat of the Hojo family, blending in with the town’s residents.

Hummy's voice has the magical power to sense and control musical notes. She can pinpoint the Treble Clef, said to reside within those who are destined to become a PreCure. By chanting and clapping her paws, Hummy can purify notes that have been turned into Negatones. Even though she was not a strong singer at first, with help from Kurokawa Ellen, Hummy became skilled enough to be the singer for the "Melody of Happiness."

Hummy shares a particularly deep bond with Kurokawa Ellen, who once trained her in singing and was ultimately inspired by Hummy's trust and persistence to awaken as Cure Beat. Hummy is trusted by both Aphrodite and the Suite PreCure team, often providing emotional support and encouragement.

Hummy is sent to the human world by Aphrodite to collect the musical notes from the Legendary Score that have scattered across the land. Her mission is crucial to prevent disaster and restore harmony.

Helping Create the Suite PreCure

Hummy’s magical voice allows her to locate the Treble Clef, which leads her to those who possess the power to transform into PreCure. She becomes a vital partner and guide for Hibiki Hōjō, Kanade Minamino, Ako Shirabe, and Kurokawa Ellen, helping them throughout their battles.

Overcoming Weaknesses

While Hummy originally could not sing well, Kurokawa Ellen’s guidance helps her improve, and she is eventually chosen to sing the "Melody of Happiness" that restores peace to the world.

Strengthening Bonds and Saving the World

Hummy’s trust and unwavering belief in Kurokawa Ellen plays a pivotal role in inspiring her friend’s transformation into Cure Beat. In episode 47, sensing Noise's sadness, Hummy bravely leaps into Noise’s body, accompanied by the Legendary Score, where her singing temporarily purifies the notes consumed by Noise.

Restoring Peace

Though Hummy falls unconscious after escaping from Noise’s body, the Suite PreCure’s singing revives her. With newfound strength, she performs the "Melody of Happiness" and brings peace back to the world. After the final battle, Hummy chooses to remain in Kanon Town instead of returning to Major Land.
