Muriel Besson

There is an otaku girl named Muriel Besson who aspires to become a manga artist and currently lives in France. She is particularly interested in drawing manga themed around Japanese high school students. When she visited Japan on a school trip, she requested Masamune Makabe and Aki Adagaki to pretend to be a couple in front of her so that she could use their behavior as a model for her manga. However, Masamune and Aki refused her request. Deeply upset by their (in a sense, understandable) response, Muriel burst into tears. As a result, her brother Frank Besson, angered by her distress, threatened Masamune and Aki, compelling them to act as a couple in front of Muriel. Based on their episode, Muriel created a manga featuring Masamune and Aki as the main characters. Muriel is also known for her distinctive speech, often using unusual phrasing similar to old-fashioned expressions.
