Eringi

The adult forms of the Nuko species have a long, slender white appearance, with one end of their bodies shaped like a mushroom, resembling an Eringi. Their role is to consume and neutralize high-energy objects such as nuclear missiles, nuclear reactors, or camera batteries, although their ultimate purpose remains unknown. After completing their mission in a given city, they spread their caps and fly off to the next city. Once all the cities have been visited and their missions finished, the Earth is reset and the Eringi enter a dormant state. Although they do not possess vocal organs, they are able to interpret sound waves as language and can communicate with humans through radio equipment. Communication between Eringi sounds like singing to human ears.
