Takafumi Takaoka

Supporting protagonist. His full name is Takafumi Takaoka. He is the nephew of Uncle (son of Uncle's sister). He is 19 years old at his first appearance (turns 20 in Chapter 11 of Volume 2).

A quiet-looking young man who wears glasses. Since all his relatives refused to take Uncle in, he reluctantly goes to meet the awakened Uncle, but upon learning of Uncle's abilities, he starts a room share with him. He has a fascination with otherworldly stories and is eager to hear Uncle's tales, but is shocked by the tragic events Uncle recounts from his time in another world, which he shares without realizing their impact. Initially, he reacts like a typical young man of his age, but gradually, due to his past experiences of family separation, he begins to exhibit more dangerous behavior, causing concern for his childhood friend Chiaki Fujimiya, who also listens to Uncle's stories with him.

He is disappointed that Uncle is oblivious to female psychology, especially not noticing the affection from the Tsundere Elf, but ironically, he himself is completely unaware of the clear affection directed at him by Fujimiya.
