Yuzu

Yuzu has long, light brown hair that is close to beige in color.

A short single lock of hair sticks up from the top of her head, forming a distinctive “ahoge” that emphasizes her innocent personality.

Her overall appearance gives off a gentle and soft impression.

Combined with her expressive face, she easily conveys her emotions to those around her.

Yuzu is kind-hearted, honest, and pure, with a consistently positive outlook.

She tends to be a little clumsy, often making small mistakes, but her sincerity makes her easy to forgive.

She approaches others with openness and warmth, which helps her quickly form bonds.

Despite her naivety, she takes her work seriously and always tries her best to grow.

When she was very young, Yuzu was found alone, buried in the snow.

Bikuni Yao discovered her in that state and took her in, raising her as her own child.

Because of this, Yuzu has a deep bond with Bikuni Yao and respects her greatly.

Bikuni Yao later sends Yuzu to work at Konohana-tei so that Yuzu can gain social experience and education beyond the sheltered life she had before.

At Konohana-tei, Yuzu works as a waitress and trainee attendant.

Through this work she learns how to interact with different kinds of guests and coworkers, developing both her skills and her worldview.

Although Yuzu is somewhat clumsy in daily tasks, she is surprisingly knowledgeable.

Having been raised by Bikuni Yao, she has extensive knowledge about humans and human society.

She has read the Kojiki (Records of Ancient Matters) from beginning to end.

This shows that she is not only curious but also scholarly, with a strong interest in history, mythology, and culture.

Her book learning sometimes contrasts with her lack of practical experience.

This mix makes her both competent in theory and adorably awkward in practice, which often leads to charming interactions with others.
