Arisa Narumi was once targeted by bullies due to her meek nature. After meeting Kyubey, she wished for strength specifically so she wouldn’t be bullied anymore and could get revenge on those who wronged her. Following a defeat and emotional breakthrough with Chisato Shion, Arisa joined the magical girl team led by Haruka Kanade.

Her unique magic, called "Boost Up," enhances her physical abilities, giving effects similar to an extreme power-up technique. Arisa was bullied, isolated, and overlooked. When Kyubey approached her with the offer to grant any wish, she asked to become strong and get revenge on those who wronged her. This changed her life immediately; not only did the bullying end, but she gained a cocky new sense of self. This arrogance led to defiant behavior in school, resulting in various incidents.
Team Building and Friendship
After being defeated by Chisato Shion—who offered both a strong challenge and sincere support—Arisa joined her team with Haruka and Matsuri. The experience fostered mutual trust and forged a deep friendship, particularly between Arisa and Chisato.
Tragedy and Loss
Arisa’s strong bond with Chisato turns to grief when Chisato is killed by Suzune Amano. This loss deeply wounds Arisa, leading her to harbor an intense hatred towards Suzune and seek revenge for her friend's death.
Revelation and Descent
Witnessing Haruka transforming into a witch exposed the grim truths of the magical girl system. Overwhelmed by regret for her “careless” wish and succumbing to emotion, Arisa temporarily reverted to her old, timid ways. With vengeance as her sole remaining motivation, she set out to confront Suzune.
Final Battle
During her fateful encounter with Suzune, an unexpected attack by Kazari Hinata from behind resulted in Arisa's death, thus ending her tumultuous journey.
Magia Record Events
Arisa appears in "Magia Record" as one of four magical girls from Akegasaki Middle School. Notably, in "CROSS CONNECTION," she and Chisato go on a quest to find a picture book in Kamihama City. In "Rumors in Disguise," the trauma from an encounter with the "Kirisaki-san rumor" briefly returns her to her pre-magical girl, timid personality.
