Fennel

An elf merchant, 183 years old. He has known Alyssa since childhood and has had a one-sided crush on her ever since. Despite his rough speech and lighthearted demeanor, he is self-deprecating enough to say, "A hundred years of unrequited love is no joke," due to his timid personality. As a result, Alyssa still sees him as a brotherly figure and hasn't noticed his feelings at all, with no signs of progress so far. He tries various schemes to catch Alyssa's attention and attempts to confess his feelings, but he always hesitates at the crucial moment and has never succeeded.

Viola has recognized from their first meeting that he has been making eyes at Alyssa, and they have been engaged in a rivalry over her.
