Alyssa

A witch with a youthful appearance. She is 223 years old. Although not related by blood, she is both a mother and a mentor to Viola. While living in a house in the forest, she supplies herbs and medicines made from materials grown in her home garden or gathered during outings to Lila's shop and Fennel. Even among witches, who are a long-lived species with slow growth, her development is exceptionally slow, and despite being over 200 years old, she has a childlike physique. Because of this, and since Viola appears more mature, the general public often assumes Alyssa is the child.

In her childhood, both her body and magical power were weak, and she frequently fell ill, requiring hospital care. However, her personality was already quite strong, and she rarely cried.

She is extremely doting towards Viola, wanting to spoil her while also raising her to eventually become independent.

According to Koga, who plays her role, she is a character who "always approaches everyone with kindness and love, and occasionally shows 'the strength of a mother' in unexpected moments."
