Mercury is a main character in Relayer. She is the Starchild of the planet Mercury in place of her older sister, Mizuno, who previously carried the Will of Mercury before dying under mysterious circumstances. A very serious and intellectual person who prides herself in her flawless work and seldom shows her emotions often, she doesn't get along well with other people and is often misunderstood by as a result apart from her fellow co-pilot Sun. Despite this, she is a hard worker who trains rigorously to honor the older sister she looked up too.
Her personal Steller Gear is Petasos, a Scout Type Gear.
Mercury is a young women with ice blue hair that reaches down to her back. She also wears a pair of glasses over her ice blue eyes, which she only takes off when sleeping and when she cries.
She primarily wears the female Asterism Uniform with the tie and inside of the jacket being ice blue in color while wearing thigh high stockings.
