Aine Chidorigafuchi

Aine Chidorigafuchi is one of the heroines of the series and a member of Amaterasu, the special unit that uses Heart Hybrid Gear in battle.

She is known for her mysterious beauty, large bust, and excellence in close-quarters combat.

She possesses the Heart Hybrid Gear Zeros, which she uses to fight magical weapons from another world.

Although sharp-tongued and stubborn, she is deeply shy at heart.

Because of memory loss, she had no recollection of anything before seven years earlier.

After collapsing, she was found by Nayuta Hida and taken in.

From that point on, she spent her days in experiments involving Hybrid Gear.

As a result, she never had even one ordinary friend of her own age.

She had met Kizuna Hida when he was a child, though she herself barely seemed to remember it.

After the Doctor disappeared, she came to believe that fighting in Hybrid Gear was the very meaning of her existence.

She also sought to obtain a Corrupt Weapon, but she could find no way to raise her Heart Hybrid beyond its limit.

Once she received Kizuna’s Connective Remodeling, she decided to approach him in order to gain her own Corrupt Weapon.

At first, she resisted this unconsciously.

However, during the enemy’s full-scale assault on Ataraxia, she performed Climax Hybridization with Kizuna and finally gained the Corrupt Weapon she had long dreamed of.

With that power, she annihilated a great enemy force.

That battle also deepened her bond with Kizuna.

In personality, she is stubborn, prideful, and often verbally harsh.

Even so, her true nature is bashful and emotionally delicate.

Her lack of memories and isolated upbringing shaped much of her behavior.

Having spent years as a subject of Hybrid Gear experimentation, she had little experience with normal friendship or teenage life.

Her specialty is close-range combat, where she excels in direct and forceful engagements.

She strongly desired to unlock a Corrupt Weapon, seeing it as the next step in her power.

This goal remained out of reach until her bond with Kizuna allowed her to surpass her previous limits.

Later, she used the Forbidden Armament Code Breaker, an act that restored her lost memories.

This revelation completely changed her understanding of herself and her place in the conflict.

Aine’s true identity is Aines Sinclavia, the First Imperial Princess of the Batlantis Empire.

After the death of her father, the former emperor, she ascended to the throne at only ten years old.

Seven years before the main story, she lost her memory during the war with Lemuria, the world on the other side.

She was then found by Nayuta in Chidorigafuchi, Tokyo, before the other world’s invasion began.

Once her memories returned, she went back to the Batlantis Empire.

There she was joyfully welcomed by her younger sister, the current empress Grace Sinclavia, as well as by the people of the empire.

After recovering her memories, Aine was torn between Batlantis and Lemuria.

She suffered over the conflict between her homeland and the world where she had lived.

When she realized that Grace and the others would not stop trying to kill Kizuna, she resolved to face him herself.

In a tragic decision, she fought Kizuna with the intention of defeating him by her own hand.

She was ultimately defeated by Kizuna, who used both Technical Gear and Heart Hybrid Gear together.

After he reached her emotionally, she decided to fight to save both worlds, and she kissed him.

Later, in the imperial capital Zelthis, she and Kizuna defeated Grace and reconciled with her.

At Valdein, the group centered around the three of them performed Climax Hybridization, reviving the Genesis Pillar and bringing the war between the two worlds to an end.

During the celebration banquet in the imperial capital, however, both worlds were destroyed by the arrival of four Machine Gods.

As a result, Aine disappeared along with Yurishia Farandole.

It was later revealed by the revived Nayuta that Aine and Yurishia had been secured by the Machine Gods together with the structural information of both worlds.

Aine then spent ten months fighting in Odin’s world to survive and raise her ranking.

After joining up with Grabel and the others, she continued fighting for another two months.

Nearly a year after her disappearance, she reunited with Kizuna and his allies and helped defeat Odin.

In the anime adaptation, Aine uses the Forbidden Armament Code Breaker and regains her memories.

Afterward, she and Kizuna hold hands, showing that their bond has grown even deeper.

Her story in the adaptation concludes just as her younger sister Grace Sinclavia appears.
