She first appears before the protagonists as an overwhelmingly powerful enemy and leaves a deep impression through sheer combat ability.

She comes from Isgard, a small nation subordinated to the empire.

Within the imperial military, she commands the Sixth Expeditionary Army, a force said to be undefeated under her leadership.

She calls herself a professional soldier and embodies the classic martial temperament.

Even so, she dislikes harming civilians and strongly prefers open, honorable combat.

As a commander, she is highly capable.

Her blend of battlefield skill, discipline, and personal charisma makes her one of the empire's most formidable officers.

Her appearance matches her reputation: fierce, proud, and impossible to ignore.

At Aldea's request, Grabel led a fleet to attack Guam.

However, once reinforcements arrived from Mega Float West USA, she chose to withdraw rather than be dragged into a war of attrition.

Later, to confirm the location of Zeros, she attacked Ataraxia alone.

She easily brushed aside Bridget in one version of the story, or Sharon Cunningham in the anime version, along with Gertrude Baird.

Even when reinforcements arrived, including Hayuru Himekawa, Scarlet Fairchild, Yurishia Farandole, Kizuna Hida, and Aine Chidorigafuchi, she maintained the advantage in battle.

She eventually withdrew because her battleship had taken damage, because she was impressed by Kizuna's spirit, and because she had confirmed Zeros's location.

She later fought alongside Aldea against Kizuna and his allies in Okinawa.

There, she was defeated by the strengthened Kizuna after he underwent linked remodeling with Yurishia and Scarlet.

After that defeat, she was recovered by Ragrus.

When taken back to the imperial capital, she was suspected of treason for failing to report Zeros's location.

The reason for her silence was deliberate.

She feared the imperial guard would run wild if they learned the truth, so she withheld the report.

As punishment, she was subjected to interrogation and abuse by Zelshione.

Until then, she had tolerated imperial domination as preferable to pointless resistance, but the corruption of the empire's upper ranks deepened her disappointment in the Batlantis Empire itself.

After the Tokyo recapture operation, Kizuna was taken prisoner and forced to fight Grabel in a coliseum.

There, she recovered her magical power by performing a climax remodeling with him.

With that restored power, she destroyed the barrier covering the arena and escaped.

During the escape, she defeated Aldea, who had come to capture her, and freed her from brainwashing.

She then returned to Isgard.

After returning home, she became the de facto highest leader of Isgard.

Determined to rebel against the empire, she later returned to the imperial capital to conduct reconnaissance.

While on that mission, she rescued Kizuna and Gertrude Baird when they were in danger, then brought them back to Isgard.

Afterward, she led the Sixth Expeditionary Army to join Ataraxia.

To save Atlantis, she and her forces formed an alliance with Earth's side and fought the imperial army in the capital.

When the resurrected Nayuta Hida rewrote memories, Grabel was active as the leader of Team Isgard at Ataraxia Academy.

Later, after becoming separated from Kizuna and the others, she arrived in Odin's world.

She reunited with Aine Chidorigafuchi there.

Two months later, while being cornered by Odin, she was reunited with Reiri Hida, who wore the magical armor Zecros, as well as Kizuna and the others.

Together, they defeated Odin.

From the beginning, Grabel liked Kizuna as a fellow warrior.

After being defeated by him, that regard deepened into respect.

Following their climax remodeling in the coliseum, she gradually developed awkward but sincere romantic feelings for him.

Later material makes clear that her attachment became very personal and heartfelt.

In the final main volume, before returning to Batlantis, she asked Kizuna to perform ultimate remodeling with her.

The two had sex, and although conception was said to be extremely unlikely, she strongly wished to have his child.

When Kizuna climaxed inside her, she held him tightly so as not to let any of it go to waste.

That wish was fulfilled, and in a later epilogue volume she is shown pregnant with a large belly.

In a subsequent volume, she gives birth to a lively baby who inherits traits from both Kizuna and Grabel.

Grabel and Aldea once acknowledged each other through a duel in the past.

Since then, they have shared deep mutual trust.

Aldea also directs obvious affection toward Grabel.

Despite Grabel's seriousness, she is weak when pressured in sexual situations, and Aldea can overwhelm her surprisingly easily.

There is a scene in which Aldea pushes her down, steals a kiss, and Grabel is swept along despite needing to focus on the mission.

The anime version depicts this even more explicitly, emphasizing the intensity of their kiss.

In bed, Grabel is completely passive.

It is also noted that after experiencing connection remodeling in the coliseum, she and Aldea later performed linked remodeling together.

Grabel stands out because she is not simply an enemy commander.
