Roy

Roy is a longtime aide who has served Arthur’s father since his generation.

He has deep experience managing the household and supporting the family’s affairs from behind the scenes.

Because of his long service, Roy understands Arthur’s family history and emotional wounds very well.

He is one of the few people trusted enough to make important decisions for Arthur’s safety and well‑being.

Roy serves as a close attendant and protector for Arthur.

Knowing that Arthur struggles with distrust of other people, Roy takes on the role of shielding him from potential emotional and practical harm.

He is serious and strict in his duties, and he often expects a lot from Arthur.

However, this strictness comes from genuine concern, not coldness, and he quietly supports Arthur from the sidelines.

Roy is the person who scouts and hires Marie as a “robot maid” for Arthur.

He chooses Marie specifically to help Arthur, believing that a robot maid would be easier for a distrustful young man to accept than another human.

Roy tends to speak and act strictly toward Marie.

Even so, his actions show that he is considerate and responsible, guiding her so that she can properly support Arthur.
