Mitsuba Sanguu

Member of the Moon Demon Company, Shinoa Hīragi Squad. Rank: Special Second Lieutenant. Born on July 7th. Age: 16. The second daughter of the prestigious Sanguu family. Known for her distinctive blonde hair, rumored to be a curse from her ancestors. Her demon weapon is a large axe called "Tenjiryu."

She has been part of the vampire extermination unit from an early age and is highly skilled, but she has a strong sense of pride and a significant rivalry with Shinoa. Initially dissatisfied with being assigned to Shinoa's squad, she gradually warms up to Shinoa and the others. Although she wishes to live in a way that brings honor to the Sanguu family, she values her comrades and family even more.

In the past, she acted independently to rescue a comrade who was about to be killed by one of the Four Horsemen of John, breaking formation and putting herself in a disadvantageous situation. A comrade who protected her ended up sacrificing themselves. This incident made her place a high value on teamwork. As a result, she often disliked Yuuichirou for his tendency to act alone, but after being saved by him multiple times in battles against vampires, she began to appreciate his kindness and developed feelings for him.

Despite her background providing her with opportunities for advancement, she feels insecure about being promoted solely because of her family name without having proven herself. Her older sister, Aoi, who serves as Kureto's secretary, despises her and treats her coldly, calling her "incompetent." However, when she quickly reacted to and blocked a sudden curse from the Hyakuya Sect, she was praised by them as "expected of a Sanguu." After Yuuichirou was kidnapped before her eyes, she joined forces with Shinoa, who had regained consciousness after sealing the First Progenitor, along with Yoichi and Kimizuki, to head towards Yuuichirou.
