In Volume 2, to survive a great famine, he leads the surrounding Orcs in an armed uprising and is named the Orc Lord by Gelmud, whom he reveres as a foster father. He commands an army of 200,000 to destroy the village of the Ogre tribe and confronts Rimuru and his reinforcements in the Lizardman kingdom. During the battle, he devours Gelmud to fulfill his wish and evolves into a Demon Lord as intended. Ultimately, he is defeated and consumed by Rimuru's "Predator" ability, disappearing while relieved that Rimuru would bear his sins as well.

The Orc Lord is a unique individual that appears once every few centuries, possessing a unique skill inherent to his special race called "Starved" which gives him an insatiable hunger, the ability to convert anything he eats into energy, and the power to grant the abilities of the monsters he consumes to his Orc followers. This causes a calamity that exhausts all surrounding monsters and organic matter. Historically, all Orc Lords have been hunted down by humans, as humans are not their prey.
