Originally a Japanese "otherworlder" who does not age and maintains the appearance of a high school student. In his original world, he possessed exceptional talents for handling psychic abilities such as telekinesis, but became angry at society's irrationalities when his parents died in an accident during his middle school years. Although he considered destroying society as revenge, he could not bring himself to make many people unhappy, and was contemplating becoming a politician to improve society when he was summoned to this world by the Demon Lord Kazaream with the intention of stealing his body. Using the unique skill he acquired at the time of summoning, he defeated Kazaream and, under the ideology of ruling and guiding this world in the right direction, he aspires to conquer the world.

At the beginning of the story, when Rimuru visited the Kingdom of Ingrassia, Yuuki, as the Grand Master of the Free Association, spoke of finding a way to return to his original world as a lifelong task, and hired Rimuru as a teacher to help the children left by his mentor, Shizue. Until the founding festival of the Jura Tempest Federation, a friendly relationship was established. Meanwhile, he was active as the leader of the eastern crime syndicate "The Three Greats," acquired a homunculus body created in the magical dynasty of Sarion, revived Kazaream as his aide "Kagali," and became the boss of the Moderate Harlequin Alliance, using his position as a Demon Lord like Clayman to expand his influence.

During the founding festival of Tempest, Rimuru discerned that Yuuki was the mastermind behind Clayman, and Yuuki realized that Rimuru suspected him. Using the incident caused by Mariabell, he attempted to pin his misdeeds on the Rozzo family, but fell into Granbell's scheme and was used for the release of the hero Chronoa, exposing his true identity to Rimuru, Leon, and Luminous who were present. He attempted to flee to the eastern empire, but was attacked by the Demon Lord Guy, who was displeased with the escape, and despite using his "Sealing Ability" and the power of a "Saint," he was completely overwhelmed and suffered a major setback. Nevertheless, he did not break and proposed a deal to Guy to collapse the eastern empire from within, accumulate power, and challenge Guy again, declaring a temporary truce with the Demon Lord forces, including Guy, who took interest in his declaration.

As declared to Guy, within less than a year, he became the "General" of the imperial army and was appointed as the commander of the "Mixed Legion." He temporarily ceased hostilities with the Jura Tempest Federation and instigated Calgurio to dispatch the armored and beast legions to the west, planning a coup in the thinly defended homeland, but the plan was exposed by Kondo before execution, and he himself was mentally controlled by Rudra, while the Mixed Legion waiting in the eastern city of Dwargon was purged by Velgrind, and his subordinate Kagali was used as material for the Phantom Birth. When Rudra was completely taken over by Michael, Yuuki was taken to the Celestial Palace along with Feldway and others, with the aim of controlling the power of the Greedy King under Michael's control, but in fact, he had used the will residing in the Greedy King as a substitute for himself, analyzed the control over the Greedy King, and had escaped from it. During the invasion of Eldorado, he fought alongside Laplace, sending signals during the battle, and cooperated with Laplace to awaken Kagali, who had been controlled by the Archangel, by stealing the King of Control granted to her, but this caused Feldway to feel endangered, and he was caught off guard by the Great Emperor of Magic, Jahil, planted in Footman, and suffered damage, putting him in a desperate situation.

Initially, Yuuki told Rimuru that he had not acquired any abilities during the transfer, but he was hiding his skills. With the unique skill "Creator," he created the "Sealing Ability" that nullifies all abilities and magic, both offensive and defensive, allowing him to fight on equal terms with Rimuru, who had become a Demon Lord in close combat. He also has the ability to steal the abilities of others, having stolen the special ability "Greed" from Mariabell. Yuuki himself stated that it is an exceptional ability, and there are restrictions on its activation. Furthermore, he evolved "Greed" into the demonic ultimate ability "King of Greed (Mammon)," acquiring the power to steal energy from anyone he touches and the authority to stimulate emotions and even affect memories. He also has the power to steal the skills of those he touches, although he cannot steal those that are permanently engraved in the soul, but if they are unstable like Ultimate Grants, he can plunder the skills.
