Sayo

One of the heroines of the story. A village girl living in Yuba Village and Ruri's best friend. She is learning spirit techniques from Yuba. Originally being close friends with Ruri, she often acted together with Rio during his stay in Karuski. From the beginning, she had feelings for Rio and confessed to him, but was rejected. Afterwards, Gouki, who had been watching the events, approached her and told her that she couldn't give up on Rio. Right after Rio left on his journey, she left the village with Gouki and others to follow Rio.

Two years later, she reunites with Rio in the Village of Spirits and is surprised to see many women around him. Knowing that Rio is of royal descent and having been rejected once, she feels inferior and decides to take a step back, but she receives advice from Miharu.
