Raiden Tameemon

A sumo wrestler active during the Edo period with a muscular physique, recognized universally in the 2000-year history of sumo as the strongest ever. His overwhelming strength led to four of his techniques being banned, yet he continued to win, reigning as the emperor of the ring for over 20 years, earning him the nickname "peerless wrestler." Loyal to the three basic desires, he indulged in heavy meals and slept naked with several women before his matches during Ragnarok, which Göll described as "the incarnation of desire." His favorite phrase was "omettai."

Born with a unique physical condition that caused abnormal muscle development, as a child, his growing muscles were so powerful they broke his own bones. To control his muscle growth, he developed a new muscle he called "hyakuto," which allowed him to maintain physical balance. Consequently, during his lifetime, he never fought with his full strength. His divine weapon, crafted by Thrud, was "Super Muscle Exoskeleton," which allowed him to control his unruly muscles at will, concentrating strength in his limbs.

Even when his muscles were restrained by "hyakuto," he exhibited monstrous strength that terrified children, calling him a monster. Hating the god who made him different but encouraged by his mother's words, he decided to use his strength to help the weak, becoming loved and living peacefully in his village. However, the eruption of Mount Asama, which led to the great famine in his village in Shinano, prompted him to become a wrestler in Edo to save his village. Finding joy in sumo, he trained rigorously with his mentor Tanikaze, and finally felt he could fully exert himself in the sport. Making his debut, he won match after match with overwhelming strength, sending money and supplies back home, earning the nickname "lightning illuminator" for Japan, struggling under famine.

Yet, seeing the fearful face of a wrestler recalled his childhood experiences of being feared as a monster, leading to his defeat. That night, realizing he had inadvertently bullied the weak, just as in the past, he decided to abandon his four strongest techniques—even those couldn't stop his victories—and continued to support his hometown financially.

In Ragnarok, he used various martial arts, delighting in the chance to wrestle wholeheartedly against Shiva. Never having been able to go all out in life, he relished releasing his full potential in the divine arena with his divine weapon managing his uncontrollable muscles, including his previously sealed techniques. However, this resulted in his physical deterioration. Expressing a wish to go all out in the sport he loved, he asked Thrud to manage his muscle control till the end, despite losing, he thanked Shiva for fulfilling his wish to wrestle without regrets. Refusing to involve Thrud further, he asked to revoke the weapon's forging, but Thrud chose to stay with him till the end, fading away with him as he turned into light.
