He was one of the six leaders serving under Kenshou Yomogawa and took on the role of leader among them. However, he clashed with Ayame Yomogawa and the others over policy, and temporarily took command of the Koutetsujou. As a result, the Kabane managed to infiltrate, causing many casualties.
Afterwards, he had a change of heart, and when they arrived at Shitori Station, he took over the management of the Koutetsujou following Ayame Yomogawa’s lead. During the chaos at Kongoukaku, he worked together with the other six leaders to guide the refugees to safety, playing an important role.
In the final episode, he is shown welcoming back Mumei and the others returning from the battle with Biba Amatori, smiling together with the rest of the Koutetsujou crew.
