Ramenman is a master of Chinese martial arts and is famous for using hand chops, powerful kicks, and many unique moves. He is said to have over a thousand different techniques, making him a true martial arts technician. In the past, he was known for his brutal fighting style, earning the nickname "the strongest brutal superhuman." But after a fierce battle with Kinnikuman, Ramenman realized the value of fair fighting and changed his ways. This transformation added depth to his character, as he began seeking not just strength, but the beauty of honorable combat. Fans find his growth inspiring, and his story makes you think about what true strength really means.
Ramenman has a long face, very thin eyes, and a special beard that looks like two lines. He wears his hair in a braided ponytail.
During his "brutal superhuman" days, his face looked more bony and wild, but after becoming a righteous hero, his face appears softer and round.
Unlike other muscular superhumans, Ramenman has a slim, toned body, which matches his fast and skillful fighting style.
In the original manga, his clothes are mostly white with red, while in the anime, they are mainly light green with red highlights.
He wears protective shoulder armor underneath his outfit.
Ramenman is calm, mature, and rarely shows strong emotions.
He is not cold-hearted—he is loyal and cares deeply about others, even his enemies.
In the past, Ramenman was very strict and even killed Brockenman in battle, earning a fearful reputation.
His brutality came from how serious he was about winning, but outside the ring, he acted as a gentleman and made wise choices.
After losing to Kinnikuman, he reflected on what true strength means and decided to become a righteous hero.
Ramenman never denies his brutal past, nor does he look down on himself for losing or making mistakes.
He always learns from the past and chooses to move forward with honor. He is a true example of a traditional Chinese role model.

Brutal Superhuman Days
Ramenman appears for the first time in the 20th Chojin Olympics as a 28-year-old veteran.
He was so feared that even monsters ran away at the mention of his name. He was called the "Demon of the East."
Ramenman, Brockenman, and Karekukku were called the "World’s Three Major Brutal Superhumans," and Ramenman was the strongest among them.
Because of their scary fights, their tournament block was held in a smaller venue and broadcast only on radio.
In the first round, Ramenman fought Brockenman, and despite facing poison gas and weapon attacks, he turned the tables with his brutal techniques. He killed Brockenman by splitting him in half with the Camel Clutch.
This shocked both Kinnikuman and the audience, creating a lasting grudge for Brocken Junior, Brockenman's son.
In the semifinals, he fought Kinnikuman on an ice ring and almost won, but after a surprise comeback from Kinnikuman, Ramenman lost.
This defeat changed him deeply, and he spoke with pride about fighting Kinnikuman, saying he gave his all.
Transition to Justice Superhuman
Ramenman became disturbed by Kinnikuman’s arrogance after their fight. In the third-place match, he challenged Terryman, who was injured, using a chain match and won harshly. When called out for his actions, Ramenman tearfully explained he wanted to teach Kinnikuman not to win through luck alone but with real dignity.
Later, as a member of the Justice Superhumans, he acted as a judge for the American tag team finals and teamed up with Brocken Junior.
Ramenman and Brocken Junior eventually built a teacher-pupil relationship based on respect.
In the 21st Chojin Olympics, Ramenman made strong showings in the qualifying rounds but lost badly to Warsman in a cage match, leaving him badly injured and in a vegetative state.
While unconscious, he was able to give Kinnikuman advice, helping Kinnikuman win.
He went to China for treatment and began operating under the name Mongolman.
King of Kinnikuman Title Arc
Ramenman returned to help Kinnikuman’s team in the finals, defeating several strong enemies like Bikeman and Prismman.
Ramenman’s match against Motorman was the fastest in the tournament, lasting only 37 seconds.
Perfect Chojin Days
During the new series in "Weekly Playboy News," Ramenman, who was healing from injuries, returned to fight Perfect Superhumans.
He fought against "Marvelous," another master of martial arts, and tried to knock him out instead of letting him self-destruct. Sadly, Marvelous still took his own life.
Later, Ramenman faced Nemesis, a strong enemy who became a Perfect Superhuman. Ramenman explained he once wanted to become one too, but after fighting Kinnikuman, he changed his mind.
Ramenman lost to Nemesis's finishing move but survived, showing the move was different from Kinnikuman’s version.
Retirement and Instructor Life
After retiring from fighting, Ramenman became an instructor at the Hercules Factory, training young superhumans.
He helped Kinnikuman’s son, Mantaro, by giving him lessons and life advice.
Ramenman had a strong rivalry with Kinnikuman, which led him to rethink his beliefs about fighting.
He killed Brockenman in battle, resulting in Brocken Junior hating him at first, but later they became close, like teacher and student.
He also inspired the other Justice Superhumans with his maturity and wisdom.
Ramenman is loved by fans and even by the manga’s creators.
He has his own spin-off comic, "Fighting Legend!! Ramenman," which tells his story in a different world.
His character design is inspired by the Jurchen, a nomadic group from northern China.
He is famous for cooking and enjoys all kinds of Chinese noodles, except miso ramen.
In the anime, some parts of his story are changed or made funnier. For example, instead of breaking Brockenman, he turns him into ramen noodles.
He also inspired other manga characters, like I-Pin from "Reborn!," who is based on Ramenman.
In some pachinko games, he appears both as Ramenman and as Mongolman, fighting various enemies.
