After Lilysa joins the club, he starts learning photography techniques as a fellow cosplay photography enthusiast, which is her hobby. He feels something akin to romantic feelings for Lilysa, but because of his principles, he has promised not to look at her in a sexual way, convincing himself that their relationship is purely one of friendship and respect as fellow otaku. However, others around them think their behavior towards each other resembles that of a couple. He does not play sports, but he trains his body in secret, and contrary to his appearance, he has a muscular build with a six-pack on his abdomen.
