Masamune Okumura

The protagonist of this work is a male high school student who attends a certain high school and is a second-year student at his first appearance. He is the president of the Manga Research Club.

His mother disappeared, and he is shunned by his sister, leading him to declare that he has "no interest in 3D women" due to past traumas, and he becomes deeply involved in Liliel. After Lilysa joins the club, he starts learning photography techniques as a fellow cosplay photography enthusiast, which is her hobby.

He feels something akin to romantic feelings for Lilysa, but because of his principles, he has promised not to look at her in a sexual way, convincing himself that their relationship is purely one of friendship and respect as fellow otaku. However, others around them think their behavior towards each other resembles that of a couple.

He does not play sports, but he trains his body in secret, and contrary to his appearance, he has a muscular build with a six-pack on his abdomen.
