During the final days of the shogunate, the city of Kyoto was in a period of turmoil. A boy who never stopped smiling, "Nio," felt his destiny change dramatically one day through his encounters with members of the feared swordsmen group "Miburōshi-gumi," commonly known as "Miburo," including Toshizō Hijikata and Sōji Okita. With a strong desire to become stronger and change the world, Nio decided to join Miburo. Together with Tarō and Hajime, who joined Miburo around the same time, they aimed for a better future and grew together amidst harsh conditions. "I will fight for the justice I believe in!" With this conviction, the three boys, each from different backgrounds, lived each moment of their youth intensely. This story will be passed down as a new tale of the "Shinsengumi" in the Reiwa era.
