Fuse (born November 23, 1975) is a Japanese light novel and fantasy author, best known for creating the massively popular series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
Fuse began his professional writing career in 2013 by serializing his debut work, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, on the user-generated novel publishing website "Shōsetsuka ni Narō".
The series quickly became a breakout success, eventually leading to a major media franchise.
It received a television anime adaptation with the first season airing in 2018, followed by a second season that premiered in January 2021.
Fuse does not maintain any official social media accounts.
Instead, he shares updates and announcements with his readers through the activity report feature on his "Shōsetsuka ni Narō" author page.
Prior to becoming a full-time novelist, he worked as a salaryman in the civil engineering industry.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime — A long-running web novel series that began serialization on February 20, 2013, and continues to the present day.
