Konomi Fujimura

Born on November 20, 1987, in Fukuoka Prefecture, Konomi had an interesting start to her career journey. She initially enrolled in a fashion school but soon realized it wasn't the right fit for her.

Fueled by a lifelong love for anime, she decided to change paths and chase her dream of becoming a voice actress. She honed her skills at the Fukuoka School of Music and later graduated from AIR AGENCY's prestigious voice acting training school.

Konomi is perhaps best known for bringing Natsuki Nakagawa to life in the beloved *Sound! Euphonium* anime series and films. She perfectly captures Natsuki's cool, seemingly detached, yet deeply caring personality.

Beyond the concert hall, she's voiced a range of characters, including the powerful Dina Sera in *The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World*. She also voiced the ship-girl Naka in the popular game and anime *Azur Lane*.

Internationally, fans of the web series *RWBY* will recognize her as the voice of the energetic Neon Katt and the silent-but-deadly Neopolitan.

Konomi's talent isn't limited to acting; she is also an accomplished singer and a prolific lyricist. Her musical journey began in earnest in 2011 when she was chosen for the idol unit "One Little Kiss."

She is also one-half of the musical duo "Alpaca Mollis," alongside composer Ryosuke Shigenaga, where she performs under the cute moniker "neco." In 2013, she even released a solo mini-album titled "SUMMER VACATION," produced by Katsutoshi Kitagawa of the band ROUND TABLE.

Lyricist Career

As a lyricist, Konomi has penned songs for a massive list of famous artists and projects. She has written lyrics for top-tier voice actresses and singers like Kana Hanazawa, Aoi Teshima, and Minori Suzuki.

Her creative writing also extends to the world of anime and games, where she's written lyrics for hit franchises like *IDOLY PRIDE* and *The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls*. She even contributed lyrics for a character song in *Sound! Euphonium 3*.

Konomi began her voice acting career around 2009, steadily building her portfolio with roles in various anime and games. A major turning point came in 2011 when she joined the voice actress idol unit One Little Kiss, which was formed from the TV program *SAY! YOU! SAY! ME!*.

Her career has seen her associated with several talent agencies. After a long and successful period with AIR AGENCY, she became a freelance artist in late 2020. She then joined Hifumi Inc. in 2021 before joining her current agency, Arte Refact, in July 2024.

Even before her official debut, Konomi's singing talent was already turning heads. She showcased her vocal prowess at the 2nd All-Japan Anisong Grand Prix, a major national anime song competition.

She earned the runner-up position in the competitive Fukuoka regional tournament, which secured her a spot in the national finals.
