There isn’t much publicly shared about his early family life, but it’s clear that his upbringing fueled his passion for performing and creativity.

He joined P’s Voice Artist School, commonly called PVAS, where his dedication and unique style helped him stand out.

In fact, he once made an impression by attending class entirely dressed in a yellow tracksuit, hoping the instructors would remember him amidst a group of about 30 weekly attendees.

Hosoda officially made his debut as a voice actor in 2018.

By February 2020, he joined Swallow (part of Pony Canyon Artists) as a pre-affiliated member and was promoted to semi-affiliated member by April 2022.

He has built a varied resume, lending his voice to a wide array of TV anime, including minor but memorable roles in "Uramichi Oniisan," "Platinum End," "Tomochan Is a Girl!," and "The Dreaming Boy Is a Realist."

In 2024, he attracted attention voicing Gobukichi (and later Ogakichi and Minokichi) in the fantasy anime "Re:Monster."

He also brought to life the character Saranokawa Kei in the popular multimedia project "Charisma."

Aside from anime, Hosoda has voiced characters in games, such as Morioka Nobumoto in "Sengoku Taiga" and Gaojian in "Gyaku Othellonia" (Othellonia).

He further showcased his range performing in stage drama readings like "Extinct Host," and as the host of the YouTube radio program "Kenta Hosoda's Swallow Night Nippon," where fans get to enjoy his candid humor and charm.
