Arisa Sakuraba

Arisa Sakuraba hails from Aomori Prefecture in Japan. She initially joined her middle school’s drama club and hoped to continue acting in high school.

Unfortunately, her school’s drama club was disbanded, so she shifted her creative energy to the broadcasting club, where she discovered her passion for narrating and reading aloud.

She quickly excelled, even reaching a national broadcasting competition during her first year.

While attending university, Arisa began attending the Japan Narration Acting Institute once a week, eventually completing two years in their advanced course and a narration seminar.

After passing an in-house audition, she officially joined Arts Vision, marking the start of her professional career.

Arisa made her professional debut in the 2010s and rapidly expanded her repertoire.

She voiced a diverse range of characters in anime, including main roles like Satan in "sin Seven Deadly Sins," Carmilla in "Kemono Michi: Rise Up," Rouge in "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" game series, and Komachi Enomoto in "Rifle is Beautiful."

Her versatility shines in supporting roles as well—she can be heard in popular anime such as "High School Fleet," "Just Because!," "Mob Psycho 100," "Fruits Basket," and "Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun" among many others.

She’s voiced prominent roles in video games, including Rouge in "Zelda," Therese in "Octopath Traveler," Mercedes in "Epic Seven," and Gwen in "League of Legends."

Arisa also lends her talent to foreign film and TV series dubbing. She is the Japanese voice for recurring characters in "Miraculous Ladybug," "Sex Education" (Maeve Wiley), "The Society," "The Umbrella Academy," and Disney’s "Zombies" films among others.

She frequently voices characters in new titles, making her a consistent and recognizable figure in the voice acting industry.

Additionally, she appears on radio, web programs, audiobooks, and promotional works, continuing to broaden her portfolio.

Arisa is also involved in web comics, theatrical animations, and musical performances related to her roles.
