Yui Nakajima is a Japanese voice actress from Osaka Prefecture, born on October 11, 1991.

Known for her petite height (148cm) and cheerful personality, she has become a familiar voice in anime and games since her debut in 2013.

Her fans affectionately call her “Yuinyan” or “Yuishi.”

With a versatile range, she has brought to life both leading and supporting roles, and has become especially beloved for her characters’ endearing quirks and warmth.

Yui is affiliated with the talent agency Mausu Promotion and is also recognized for her participation in radio programs, character songs, and various multimedia projects.

Yui’s fascination with voice acting began after watching late-night anime, which inspired her to pursue a career in the field.

She attended Osaka Sogo College of Design, where she honed her acting skills before officially stepping into the voice acting world.

Her distinct Osaka dialect remains a charming aspect of her speech and on-air persona, reflecting her roots.

Yui made her voice acting debut in 2013 as Kanaka Amaya in the TV anime "Aiura."

Over the years, she has voiced a wide range of characters, such as Zeal and fairies in "The Seven Deadly Sins" (across three series), Mei Dandridge in "ISLAND," and Ute in "If It’s for My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord."

She is also the voice behind Hime Nonohara in the popular "Tokyo 7th Sisters" multimedia project and game, demonstrating her singing talents as well.

In addition to TV anime, Yui has worked on theatrical movies like "Josee, the Tiger and the Fish" and the "Tokyo 7th Sisters" anime film.

Her versatility extends to video games, where she’s played Clala throughout the "Mary Skelter" series, Freche in "Fire Emblem: Three Houses" and its Warriors spin-off, and Saotome Ayaka in "Ongeki."

Yui's radio work includes hosting shows like "Much Suki Yanen" ("I Love it"), which ran for a decade and helped her connect closely with her fans.

She has also contributed to drama CDs, motion comics, and participated in many live performances, often as part of the Tokyo 7th Sisters idol unit.

Yui announced her marriage on December 29, 2018, through her personal Twitter account, sharing her happiness directly with fans and colleagues.

On November 23, 2023, Yui shared the joyful news of her first child’s birth, receiving warm messages from fans and other voice actors online.

She has a deep love of idol groups, gaming, and sports, and openly talks about her hobbies on social media.

Her friendly, approachable personality shines through both in interviews and at fan events.

Yui’s blood type is A, and she’s jokingly referred to herself as “Yuinyan” and “Yuishi” among her fans and peers.

Despite her short stature, she is known for her energetic stage presence and ability to hype up audiences.

She is especially fond of Kansai-ben (Osaka dialect), often slipping it into her work and public talks.

Yui has contributed numerous character songs to anime and games, particularly through "Aiura" and "Tokyo 7th Sisters."

She participated in many live concerts, bringing her characters to life on stage through singing and dancing.

Her ongoing involvement in radio, stage readings, and audio books showcases her dynamic range beyond traditional anime roles.
