Rim debuted on October 18, 2019, coinciding with the launch of KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO. Her character design was created by PALOW. She initially began by uploading covers of international hit songs on YouTube, quickly establishing her unique musical identity.

Her mysterious character is described as a girl with an enigmatic gaze, who loves songs in Japanese, English, and Korean. Rim is recognized for her clear yet rich voice, capturing attention for its ability to move fluidly between genres and languages.

In December 2019, Rim released her first original track, "You & Me," marking her transition from cover artist to original creator. The primary composer and producer for her works is singer-songwriter Mao Sasagawa.

Her 2020 single "Carnivorous Plant" went viral on TikTok, racking up over 20 million YouTube views by October that year. Later, she performed her first online live concert, "CHOCOLATE LIVE," on YouTube, further expanding her audience.

By March 2021, Rim became a member of V.W.P, a virtual artist group alongside talents like KAF, Harusaruhi, Isekaijoucho, and Koko. The group quickly became prominent within the Japanese virtual music scene.

Rim’s talents also led to high-profile collaborations and tie-ins. She provided theme songs for games, TV dramas, and anime—including main themes for projects such as the drama "Abyss of a Boy" and the anime "500 Million Button." She also participated in creative projects like fashion collaborations with "CONVERSE STARS SHIBUYA" and "adidas Originals," exhibitions, and various live performances ranging from online-only events to large halls like Nippon Budokan.

In 2022, Rim announced a study-abroad period in the United States to focus on language learning. Despite moving overseas, she continued her activities online, releasing a CeVIO AI voice synthesis library, "RIME," based on her own voice. In 2024, she expanded into spoken voice software with the "VOICEPEAK" collaboration.

Her discography includes two original albums, multiple singles, cover albums, and a collaboration album with Guiano. Rim frequently collaborates across the KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO artist community, contributing vocals to various projects.

While much of Rim’s personal background—such as her real name and early life—remains undisclosed, she was born in March 2002 in Japan. She spent the summer of 2022 to spring 2023 in the United States for language study, continuing her creative work throughout.
