Misaki Ayuzawa

The protagonist of the story. She has long black hair and a slender figure. The first female student council president of Seika High School. After her father disappeared leaving behind debts a few years ago, she was deeply hurt and developed a dislike for men. Because she was "betrayed by the man she should have trusted the most," she worked hard to become a strong all-rounder in both academics and sports. To help with household finances, she works part-time at a maid café called "Maid Latte" in a neighboring town under the name "Misaki (Misa)."

Her personality is very serious and responsible, and she is a hard worker. Although she is beautiful and has a good figure, she is not aware of it at all and seems uninterested in fashion (likely due to financial reasons). She excels in both academics and sports but is not good at cooking.

She refers to herself as "watashi," and is mainly called "President" by the boys at school (almost exclusively by this nickname, except for Takumi and Hinata who call her by her name). The girls call her "Ayuzawa-san" or "Misaki-chan." Sakura calls her "Misaki," and Shizuko calls her "Misaki-san."

Fearing the loss of her dignity as president, she kept her part-time job a secret from school-related people, but Takumi and the three idiots found out around spring of her second year. However, all four kept it a secret and became regular customers at Maid Latte.

Since childhood, she has been serious and strict but also caring towards others. According to her childhood friend Hinata, she was popular with boys in elementary school (though she was unaware and thought she was disliked).

She is insensitive and not good with romance, often listening to her female friends' love stories but never sharing her own, as she confided to Aoi. Regarding her relationship with Takumi, she struggles with how to deal with her feelings, wanting to remain calm but constantly having her heart stirred.

She pursued a career as a diplomat after entering a prestigious university and married Takumi ten years after graduating high school. They have two children.

She ranked second in the character contest (popularity poll).
