Chisato Nishikigi

One of the protagonists of the series. A 17-year-old girl with yellowish-white bob-cut hair adorned with a red ribbon. Her birthday is September 23, and her blood type is AB. She stands at 162 cm tall. Her motto is "Prioritize what you want to do." She is well-loved as the poster girl at Café LycoReco and is involved in various forms of helping others, such as assisting at a kindergarten, teaching at a Japanese language school, mediating gang conflicts, advising manga artists, and working as a bodyguard. However, she has set a personal rule to only help when requested.

She is a "genius" with exceptional insight and extraordinary vision, allowing her to discern an opponent's line of fire and shooting timing, even dodging bullets fired at close range. She is also proficient in languages, including French, enabling her to communicate naturally with foreigners.

She believes in the principle of "valuing life," using non-lethal bullets to avoid fatalities in combat and providing first aid to the injured, even if they are enemies, as long as the situation permits. She is renowned among the Lycoris for having once protected the old radio tower from Majima and his terrorists single-handedly. In emergencies, she acts as the strongest First Lycoris under the direction of Mika, the manager of Café LycoReco.

Her "talent" was recognized from a young age, earning her the First Lycoris uniform, but she suffered from a congenital heart defect, with a limited life expectancy. However, she was acknowledged as a "genius of killing" by Shinji Yoshimatsu, leading to the implantation of a state-of-the-art pulseless artificial heart with support from the Alan Institute. Without knowing Yoshimatsu's name or true intentions, she believed him to be her benefactor and left the DA headquarters to start Café LycoReco, aiming to become a savior like him through non-lethal means. However, she did not remember her benefactor's face, and when Yoshimatsu first visited Café LycoReco after more than a decade, she did not recognize him, seeing him only as a like-minded regular customer.

The handgun she uses is a special model gifted by Yoshimatsu, recognizing her talent as a "genius of killing." It uses .45 caliber ammunition, with a shortened barrel and a strike face for close combat attached to the muzzle.

After the final battle with Majima at Enkugi, she loses consciousness due to the malfunction of her artificial heart but is carried to the Lycoris headquarters by Mika and others, where her heart is replaced with a new model. Upon awakening, she fears that she might eventually be executed due to the circumstances involving the Lycoris headquarters sending Liribel after them, so she escapes the headquarters and flees to Irabu Island, enjoying the local sights. However, she is captured by Takina, who follows her not as a Lycoris but as a friend. Subsequently, she throws the owl charm given to her by Yoshimatsu as a child into the sea, severing her feelings and ties with him. She then travels to Hawaii with her friends from Café LycoReco to reopen the café in a food truck.
