Shinji Yoshimatsu

He is a member of the Alan Institute but usually maintains the appearance of a businessman. As an old friend of Mika, he is a regular customer at Café LycoReco and is called "Yoshi-san" by Chisato. Secretly, he commissioned Walnut to hack into DA and hired Robota to kill Walnut.

Following his belief that "exceptional talent must be delivered to the world," he arranged for Chisato, a "genius of killing," to receive an artificial heart with the support of the Alan Institute. At that time, he did not reveal his name and introduced himself to Chisato as "your savior, so to speak," which inspired Chisato to adopt the goal of becoming a savior herself.

However, Yoshimatsu himself wishes for Chisato's talent to blossom as the ultimate assassin. To achieve this, he collaborates with Majima and uses Takina to drive Chisato towards murder.

Within the Alan Institute, "direct contact with beneficiaries" and "a second support for those previously supported" are prohibited, but Yoshimatsu has violated these two taboos.
