He quickly tries to shoot Muska, but it turns out he is shooting at a hologram.
Muska mocks him and then drops the floor, sending Mouro and his soldiers down into the sea, where they die.
Aftermath
Any soldiers who survive are later wiped out by the castle’s robots, which Muska activates.

In the movie credits, he is only called "General" and not by his real name, Mouro Shougun.
His character design in early drafts was combined with Muska and called "Colonel Chick," who wore a high hat.
Ichiro Nagai, the actor who voiced Mouro Shougun, also played Uncle in "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind."
