Over the course of many battles, Kyo goes through dramatic changes, recovers his lost memories, and learns to accept who he is, finally achieving something no one else has done before.

In the past, Kyo left a message saying, “Be careful. Don't get involved with Shizuno Misaki.” This message was from the old Kyo, intended to give the future Kyo the freedom to make his own choices.

Becoming a Celebrant
Kyo meets Shizuno Misaki, which leads him to awaken as a Celebrant.
He becomes the gunner of Zegapain Altair and starts fighting to protect his world.
Discovering the Truth
During his battles, Kyo learns the shocking truth:
The world he thought was real is just data.
At first, this discovery makes him despair, but he soon decides that his life still has meaning, even as a digital being.
He chooses to fight the Gards-orm to protect the Maihama Server and the people he cares about.
Recovering Memories
Through continued battles, Kyo slowly regains memories of his past life.
He also begins to remember his earlier calm personality and his time with Shizuno Misaki in elementary school.
He was once a sensitive, thoughtful boy but is now more straightforward and bold.
The Final Battle
In the last fight, Kyo uses the Resurrection System located in Jifeitas and becomes the only one to regain a real body.
After defeating Abyss, Kyo works on building a new Resurrection System on Earth in the real world.
By becoming real again, he regains all his lost memories and integrates his former personality with who he is now.
Kyo’s birthday is July 16, 2006, as revealed during the 10th Anniversary event "10th Anniversary Zegapain SBG Summer Start @ Maihama Server.”
In the movie "Zegapain ADP," he is already a Celebrant from the start, with clear signs of memory loss, especially about the last memories of his family.
Kyo likes to use the phrase, “It’s impossible!” when faced with difficult situations.
